In The First original design, cards are directly linked together through their PCI slot (see “Standard Compatibility”). Although this design principle allows numerous cards to be mounted, it is impossible to guarantee 100% compatibility.
Thanks to the many feed-backs received from the Community, we decided to extend the compatibility to nearly 99% by developing a dedicated riser.
Standard Compatibility:
Cards are directly connected to each other through their PCI slots.
This is made possible thanks to 2 specific mechanical features:
Cards are not connected to the chassis
Mounting tolerances have been integrated in the design, thanks to sliding mounting kits and large heat exchangers.

Riser Compatibility:
A specific riser has been developed for non-compatible cards. Thanks to this riser, we can now ensure 99% compatibility. It will be offered to all our early customers (batch 1 or batch 2).
